Your Reactions - "The Internet Controversy Show" (Paul Christoforo)

WorstShowOnTheWeb's picture

We just finished our interview with Paul Christoforo of the Ocean Marketing/Avenger Internet Scandal. How'd we do? Were we fair? Too easy? Did we ask the questions you wanted us to ask? How about Mr. Christoforo? How'd he do? Did his answers make sense? Do you think he avoided answering them? Do you think his apologies are genuine? This is the place to comment... or listen to the interview if you haven't already...

Paul did not imply he was wasting his time by being on the show. Paul was making a point to support his sincerity. As for telling the caller they would be "riding bitch," that was understandable. Paul's response was suitable. That caller was a troll.

The apology? Honestly, I agree with Paul. What more do people want or expect? Do they want him to cry? He was a dick to a customer. He admitted that, he said sorry for that. As for this whole, "You're not sorry, you're just sorry you were caught." That is just childish crap. He said sorry, he said he conducted himself as a prick. What more can a guy do?

His lesson was learned. He got fired due to his actions. He's a bit of a rambler and compulsive liar. However, I don't particularly think he deserves to be harassed and threatened. I don't believe his family should be threatened.

Good God-- why is it that the hosts have a worse internet connection than the guest? Seriously, have you listened to the file? The stuttering audio makes this almost unlistenable but at least Christoforo comes in clearly. I have no issues with how the interview was handled; there's not much else to say and he's proven to be an inveterate liar and revisionist. But look into your technical issues if you want to be taken seriously.

I like how Paul implies that he is "wasting his time" by being on your show. It's almost as amusing as his master entrepreneurship advice, and implications that people in India write English as bad, or worse than he does. Well, he does admit that PR is not his strong suit. Of course he ends it by plugging his GameTrailers/Spike TV interview.
This interview was not too bad, the hosts were well-studied on the subject, and they worked to keep things civil, while at the same time not coddling Paul, and calling him on anything he said that didn't quite line up. They did have some audio issues though.

There WAS a serious problem with the world when people like Paul Christoforo would go unnoticed for the sh*t they pull on a daily basis, until now. Sadly the only reason things turned out the way they did is because he decided to be a douche to the least organized yet most powerful set of consumers there are, the gamers
Yes, he apologized, though does anyone really believe him? I doubt the people who interviewed him had a single thought of “poor guy” and more thought of “I can’t believe how stupid this kid really is” while they shake their heads and role their eyes though the only way we have any type of proof that this is how these interviewers of Paul Christoforo (and any others that dare to listen to his explicit bull sh*t while trying to leave their own opinion out) is the pause followed by the uncomfortable laughter and the two to three words following which SOMEHOW Paul Christoforo felt was an acceptance of his actions.
Something that Paul Christoforo brought up that I doubt anyone truly knew what the f*ck he was talking about (especially himself) was that he would trash talk on SOCOM and people would praise him because “it was bad a*s” with his smart (and I use the term loosely) mouth. I truly think that he has some perverse idea that people will praise him for talking sh*t to this poor guy (Dave) who paid what seems to NOW be $10 over price. Thank god he gave him a coupon for the difference! I mean who WOULDN’T want to deal with Paul Christoforo’s company again??
The one thing that is seriously laughable is that he has to take steroids to produce testosterone (which he admitted) and that simple fact should only mean to everyone out there that he is less than a man, and I say this because the biggest reason for a man (especially his age which is actually quite young to need testosterone) to take pills to heighten their testosterone levels is because they can no longer keep an erection, possible not even get one period. So yes, without this he may as well be d*ck-less. Though hearing him talk and apologize… THEN parade about telling the callers to throw everything they got at him and telling one of the callers that he (the caller) would be “riding bitch” as reference to taking back seat on his motorcycle proves to me that he is well beyond d*ck-less.
Fun fact: he has now publicly invited people who have a problem with him (everyone) to come to him and say the things they say online to his face. Now, if he were to grow his IQ possibly two points higher than it stands at right now, he would realize he needs to pack a gun because he literally just declared it open season on his own a*s.
