Well, unless you're like Kurtis and are being trailed by paparazzi, there is a good chance that you just got nabbed by a red light enforcement camera. Do those things really prevent traffic accidents? Do they make us safer in the long-run? Join us as we converse with citizen activist and red light camera nemesis Jay Beeber.

We salute those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of their country and honor them the only way we know how - by not tarnishing this day with one of our crappy shows. Don't get too excited, however, we WILL be back next week to tarnish THAT Monday...

No, Michael Stipe will not be joining us - sadly. Also sadly, since some believe that the biblical apocalypse will be upon us this upcoming weekend, this may well be our last broadcast. Wait a second... actually... nope. I am pretty sure that no matter what happens we will still be around, so ignore that last statement.

Our coverage of the 54th San Francisco International Film Festival continues with a focus on the narrative features on exhibit. We'll be discussing what we've been able to screen since last week's show, and we'll be joined by local film and bicycle enthusiast John Angelico. (Helluva combination of interests...) Mr. Angelico blogs for sfgate.com, the online service of the San Francisco Chronicle. His coverage of the Festival can be found under the "Culture Blog" heading for the aforementioned site.

Our coverage of the 54th San Francisco International Film Festival continues as we turn our focus to the documentary films now being exhibited. We'll be joined my Michael Behrens, Filmmaker Education Manager for the San Francisco Film Society, to discuss the "Causes and Impacts" program. It's a series of ten films (eight documentaries and two narratives) being screened that seem to be a call to action.

Proving that some organizations refuse to learn from their mistakes, the San Francisco Film Society has once again invited us to cover the 54th Annual San Francisco International Film Festival. The Festival runs from April 21st through May 5, 2011, at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas and several locations throughout the San Francisco Bay area. Our expanded coverage begins with a preview of this year's event.
